    Real bullet brass cartridge handle on a ferrocerium rod type fire starter.
    This Ferrocerium rod fire starter doesn't care if it's snowing, raining, or windy ! It will even work after being at the bottom of the creek for awhile, try that with matches or a cigarette lighter !
    The video is of a different fire starter I make, but illustrates the idea of what a ferrocerium rod can do with my favorite tinder, a cotton ball soaked in petroleum jelly.  Sparks emitted from ferro-rod type fire starters can reach 3000 degrees for easy ignition of dry tinder.
    It comes with a striker for the ferro-rod, a bullet tinder storage container, a cotton ball to practice with, and a split ring so you can fasten it to your belt, backpack, fishing bag, key chain or whatever.
