    This listing is for a single piece of CHERT / FLINT used for starting fires with a steel striker.
    Your piece will be approximately 2" long.  However, this varies.  If you would like a slightly larger piece for whatever reason (like if you have large hands), let me know and I will get you a bigger one.
    Chert is the general name for several types of stone that are extremely hard and fracture into pieces with sharp edges.  Flint is chert that happens to be grey.  The chert you will get could be grey, or it could be of some other color (white, yellow, or reddish)
